Body Modification
This week I was looking into some movies that I like made by Chinese film makers. Long story short my travels on the web led me to several sites where Chinese footbinding was the topic. I'm not going to get into that subject too deeply except to say that it was pretty extreme. All that led me to thinking about bdsm and how far I'd be willing to go with my body. I'm wondering what others feel about this. If you surf into this blog please leave a comment for us. How far would you go? Piercing, tattooing, or even more extreme branding. Now I'm not saying how far would you go in doing these things to please yourself, but how far would you go to please your Master or Owner? I can't wait to hear what folks say!

Well, as an Owner I think the question becomes: how far would I like to go with modifying the body of my slave? As we've discussed privately, the idea of placing a permanent mark of ownership on you at some point is very appealing to me. Most likely this would be a tatoo. If we lived in a more sex-positive culture I would want it to be somewhere visible and fairly unambiguous; given the realities of life, it would need to be more discreet.
As for other body modifications, I can easily imagine requiring my slave to be pierced any number of places : >. More radical modifications (e.g., scarring) have no appeal to me; I want any mark I place on my slave's body to enhance her beauty, not mar it.
That's my 2 cents. Others?
This is something I am a bit torn on. I am terrified of needles which makes piercing and tattooing sound equally unappealing. I've heard so many horror stories about branding that it freaks me out too. I guess the bottom line is that if this is something my Owner decided he really wanted, I would do my best to wrap my head around it, perhaps begging more time to think on it, and if I just couldn't calm myself down about it I would have two choices. 1. Do it anyway, to please him. 2. Disobey, and take the consequences of displeasing him.
Interesting question... one that I hope stays theoretical for me.
